December 19th and 20th: A non-epic day followed by an epic one

I don't remember what we did on the 19th. It was the first day when I only took one photo. I think I went to English conversation group? I don't know. It felt like settling into a routine, and not like every single thing I was doing was new and exciting and epic. I'm writing this on the 5th of January, and it is nice that things are settling in a little bit. Having everything be new and exciting all the time is exhausting.
The one thing I did photo, though, was this official mail box for letters to Santa.

December 20th, though, that was an epic day. We went for a morning walk, our amaryllis is blooming like crazy, I had my first guitar lesson, I got a thai massage for the first time, I biked to Hisingen Island to a friend of a friend's house for dinner with some refugees who want to work on their English, then I biked to a music club and watched Sus's choir, then we took the bus boat back home, THEN we had midnight pizza. Such a rad day.

When you have socialism, you get cool things like this toy library

Thai massage bathroom: it's just like I'm in Thailand!

Sus's choir is really fun!

The bus boat ferried us back across to Gothenburg. It's like if Trimet ran a boat between downtown Portland and Vancouver. Or, like, if downtown Portland was right by Vancouver and there was a boat between the two. So much more fun than a boat with wheels!

Friends on a boat!
